Best Season in Pamporovo for the Last Five Years

Hotels in Pamporovo are nearly 100 % full this week, informed Investor.Bg, having this information from hoteliers’ association “Pamporovo 21 Century “.
This is the most successful winter season for the last five years, thinks Georgi Georgiev , Chairman of the association. The tourists are 22% more compared to the same period last year. Hotels are nearly full and 70% of the clients are foreigners – English, Irish, Swedish, Serbs and others. There is a decrease in the number of Bulgarian tourists and the main reason is the rise in the price of some services, says Georgiev.
Some British tour operators have already completed the contracts with Pamporovo for the next winter season. Deals with the tour operators show raised interest towards the resort and expected growth with 15-30 % for winter 2006.
